Interior Design Alumni Reception at The Ringling

The Department of Interior Architecture and Design held an alumni reception at the Ringling Museum on July 12.  Over 40 alumni and friends had the opportunity to catch up with former classmates, hear about the department’s activities, and tour the Ca d’ Zan mansion. Lisa Waxman, chair of interior design, shared the recent activities and successes of the department, and Karen Myers gave a synopsis of the department’s summer program at the Ringling.  Advisory board member Ron McCarty, curator of the Ca d’Zan hosted the event and provided a behind-the-scenes tour of the mansion. Herman Miller and Wilsonart sponsored the reception.
