Florida State University will be fully open and providing its full course complement for the fall 2020 semester. The current global pandemic has brought procedural changes to the learning experience for all departments including Interior Architecture & Design. However, the Department is committed to continuing its long tradition of excellence in its learning opportunities, and will hold all classes in the fall either as a face to face experience on the Tallahassee campus, a hybrid of remote and face to face methods, or through remote methods. Learn more about how faculty are creatively responding to new challenges. Current FSU policies concerning the protection of health for students, faculty and visitors can be found here.
Undergraduate students should apply directly to Florida State University and list Interior Design as their preferred major. There is no separate undergraduate application to the department. Undergraduate students are listed as conditional majors until they take the three diagnostic classes, go through First Year Review and are formally admitted to the program.
Graduate students should apply online. All departmental/program admission requirements can be completed/uploaded via the application portal.
