IA+D Students Win ASID Design Excellence Competition

Published October 11, 2019

Each year, ASID Florida North Chapter hosts a Student Design Excellence competition to parallel its competition for professionals. Student ASID members from Tallahassee, Jacksonville, Gainesville, and Orlando submit renderings and concept statements to be judged in a host of different categories. The designs are based on a 100-point scale and include such criteria as creative and functional use of space, relationship of materials, textures, and patterns, and attention to details and design elements among others.

We are proud to announce that Graduate Student Zuleydi Gonzalez won first place in the hospitality design division and Junior Kaley Bogden won first place in the residence under 3000 square feet division. Please join us in congratulating these two on their incredible work which can be found in the galleries below.
