Graduate students completing the Master of Science Thesis and Master of Fine Arts programs undertake original research that is published in a University thesis. Many students also present their findings in academic conferences.
The Florida State University Graduate School holds a yearly student event called the Masters in 4 competition, challenging students to summarize and communicate the topic of their master’s thesis in 4 minutes or less.
