IA&D Career Shaping Event 2021

Launched in 2018, the Department of Interior Architecture & Design’s Career Shaping Events have been extremely successful and have resulted in multiple hires and internships while showcasing the rich diversity of architectural and interior design firms and associated industry representatives that value the competence and creativity an FSU designer can bring to the design workplace. Each spring our graduating seniors and graduate students begin their job searches in earnest seeking entry-level positions in firms across the country. Additionally, our 3rd year juniors and 2nd year sophomores initiate their own searches  for summer internships. This event typically attracts upwards of 50 students seeking full-time jobs, and as many as 70 looking for internships over the next several years. The event will include opportunities for individual and group interaction, a Q&A panel session composed of design practitioners, and remarks by our three 2021 Alumni Award recipients.
