The FSU Graduate Program within our department offers the Master of Science, the Master of Arts and the Master of Fine Arts degrees, and each provide graduate students the ability to explore their passion for design within a specific design sector such as residential, hotel and restaurant, workplace or other specialties. These degrees and their projects provide opportunities and impart skills from design research to construction documents and detailing. This year’s class of graduate students produced impressive advanced design projects notable for their breadth and deep creativity. From the nine students sprang forth initiatives ranging from a co-working hotel to an inclusive primary school, from a museum designed to promote understanding of the interior design profession to a multi-family community solution inspired by the WELL Building Standard. Under the studio guidance of Jim Dawkins and Steve Webber as well as their MFA thesis committee members, these students pushed the boundary of expectations and we will miss their energy and dedication. We welcome you to view our graduate’s work, watch our farewell video, and ask that you join us in congratulating them on a job well done. Best of luck, graduates, we look forward to seeing all that you accomplish and how you shape the future!
