We are excited to have five new interns joining us in the studio this semester to work with Kenneth von Roenn. Students will work with each staff member one on one to learn their specialized skills as well as enjoy talks with Kenn on his more than forty year career in Architecture and Public Art.
Kenn’s artist talks will provide students with a framework for how artists work successfully in the public art arena, including an analysis of projects as well as detailed explanations of special issues to consider in this field of design. In addition, students will gain valuable insight about how an art production studio operates from how to present your concept to a client to how to manage the project.
These five students are the first interns to have the opportunity to participate in the new Public/Architectural Arts Program, we are looking forward to spending some time with them this semester.
