Lighting Designer to Visit FSU

February 10th and 11th, 2016

Chip Israel, CEO and founder of the architectural lighting design firm Lighting Design Alliance will visit the Florida State University Department of Interior Architecture + Design on Wednesday and Thursday, February 10th and 11th to deliver lectures on his firm’s philosophy and its projects. The February 10th lecture at 5:30 PM in Room 2009 of the William Johnston Building is open to the public.  For over twenty years, Lighting Design Alliance has provided inspired lighting solutions from its offices in California, Shanghai and Dubai. Their projects span commercial, hospitality, entertainment, institutional and retail sectors and past clients include Walt Disney, Chase Bank, Sega Game Works, Marriott and Mercedes Benz. Israel has been a lighting designer for over 30 years and is a Fellow of the International Association of Lighting Designers and a LEED accredited professional.
