Professor Dawkins with IA+D Students Browsing His Exhibit

Faculty and students in the Department of Interior Architecture + Design gathered on Wednesday, October 5 in the William Johnston Gallery to celebrate the opening of the faculty show, “Insights”. The goal of the show was to share insights from the faculty depicting who they are, what they believe, and generally, what makes them tick. The show was intended to be fun, serious, or whimsical (or a hybrid), and is a measure of introspective expressionism. Each faculty member also contributed a bit about their history and their “super power” along with a talisman (object of special importance or magical properties). Special thanks to faculty members Jim Dawkins and Lena McLane for curating the show and to Wayne Vonada, on loan from MOFA, for his help in hanging the show.
