Professor Ransdell Presents at Hawaii International Conference on Education

Associate Professor Marlo Ransdell recently presented at the 15th annual Hawaii International Conference on Education in Honolulu January 3 – 6, 2017.  The conference of over 1200 participants offered unique opportunities such as meeting with Associate Director of Program Development for Insidetrack, Chris Hayes, on international graduate student recruitment and job placement.

While there, Professor Ransdell presented two of her papers, which are titled “Developing rubrics for problem-based learning: Enhancing critical thinking beyond the major” and “The ‘Makerspace’ for education: Strategies for development and successful learning opportunities”.  She also co-presented a poster with recent FSU MFA graduate, Lindsey Baker, entitled “Facilitating the future and what matters: People, proximity, connection and technology”.
