Alumni Spotlight: Marsha McBain

Marsha McBain, FSU alumnus, graduated from the Interior Design program in August of 2011. After graduation Marsha opened her own design firm where she designed interiors as well as graphics. This endeavor led to an opportunity to work with a contractor, which allowed Marsha to practice interior design overseas in London and Trinidad.

During this time Marsha passed the LEED Green Associate exam and became LEED-AP ID+C accredited. In December 2014, Marsha was offered a position as the Interior Design Project Coordinator at Habify, a design-build firm in Coral Gables, Florida. Marsha started her new position this January and is scheduled to take the IDFX section of the NCIDQ this year. The department congratulates Marsha on her accomplishments.
